SORT's Tactical Medical Team

The Special Operations Response Team's Tactical Medical Team formed in 2000 becoming the first specialized medical provider to law enforcement "special teams" in Forsyth County, NC.

The team responds in a vehicle dedicated specifically to carrying tactical medical equipment to support the Sheriff's Office Special Enforcement Team. Each member carries tactical protective gear such as ballistic vests, helmets, medical vests, and special medical packs designed for austere medical care.
