This web-based training was created for your convenience to minimize your travel and classroom time. This material must be completed before you will receive credit for completing the SMAT II Training.

You need to complete the post-quizzes for each of the four modules presented here. Upon completion of viewing the material, print the corresponding post-quiz.  This is not an online graded quiz. You need to print the quiz and answer the questions by hand. Write your name on it, and bring it to class for evaluation.

2. Scroll down this page to a module topic heading and double mouse click on it. (The letters are in BLUE)  This will open Adobe and allow you to view the presentation material.

3. Upon completion of viewing the material, double mouse click the word "Quiz" (also in BLUE) and Adobe will open the quiz associated with that module. You will need to have a printer attached to your computer to print the quiz which you will complete by hand.

 OBJECTIVES FOR ONLINE COURSE:

  1. Define the mission of the Strategic National Stockpile (SNS).
  2. List medications contained in the SNS.
  3. Describe Receiving Sites and compare them to Distribution sites.
  4. Discuss the roles of the Senior Medical Officer and the Local Hospital Representative.
  5. Compare and contrast the roles of representatives from: Emergency Management, Emergency Medical Services, Public Health Regional Surveillance Teams, Law enforcement, Regional Advisory Committee, and Special Teams.
  6. List three indications for the request of the SNS.
